I am so sick of people telling me not to comment just because they don't like my opinion on a story. Get a fucking grip.
Flag Classification
Green flag- wouldn't hurt a fly, let alone a single hair on their lover's head. Comes in many varieties, but crybaby and golden retriever are the most common.
Yellow flag - obsessive, manipulative and even scary at times, but would never do anything to hurt their lover, even if they have no qualms about hurting others. Think Chaheon from Love on Hold, or Jigeon from Tied To You
Red flag - pretty fucked up person that does fucked up things, including but not limited to their lover. Will/has committed some kind of assault, usually sexual, against their love interest but, VERY IMPORTANTLY, has the potential to be redeemed. This is where the redemption arc is necessary to the classification. Can end the story as a yellow or even green flag. Think Taeju from LTIT
Black flag - Very evil person, usually engages in things like kidnapping and assault at the drop of a hat. Even attempted murder is not off the table. Cannot be redeemed and usually has no interest in being redeemed. Will end the story as a Black flag, even if they have engaged in an arc that resembles a redemption. But importantly, they don't actually change. See Caesar from Roses and Champagne for an example.
