I love literary analysis and discussing comics with other people, especially how different perspectives intersect or compete in genres.
Themes and portrayals which I often have opinions about include: BDSM, disabilities, psychiatric conditions and diagnoses, mental health, sex ed, heteronormativity and patriarchal lenses in depictions of LGBTQ+ characters and relationships.
Always open for recommendations of comics with good plot, interesting exploration of themes, well fleshed-out characters, or well developed interpersonal chemistry, regardless of genre!
