If you hate those ads and pop-ups and redirects, I recommend the Opera browser app rather than chrome app. Still searches Google (if you want) but has a free VPN built in, automatically blocks ads and trackers, and avoids dangerous redirects/downloads. Once you get used to its layout, I hope you love it. (I'm not getting paid to say any of this, I just hate ads)
