MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE MANHWAS
(I've lost count as to how many times I've read them. Also, these are not arranged in any sort of ranking.)
1. MARRIAGE OF CONVIENCE
A story about second chances, friendship and finding happiness in different ways. I couldn't stop myself from crying while reading this one. It has such delicately written scenes which will touch your heart.
2. MISS NOT SO SIDEKICK
A hilarious story I binge read whenever I'm down in the dumps. Latte and Arwin instantly give me a serotonin boost. Ps- Die hard Arwin fan reporting for duty🫡
3. I STOLE THE NUMBER ONE RANKER'S SOUL
Fun story about a corporate girly who leaves her job and saves the world with an "almost" ghost boyfriend as her sidekick 😆
4. MOONSTRUCK (THE RED NIGHT'S LOVERS)
Moonstruck is a short story collection. The red night's lovers is so far my favourite because it's angsty and an absolute masterpiece with gorgeous art and plotline!
5. YOU ARE TOO NAIVE, MY SWEETHEART!
Nana and Sudaka are literally one of the cutest shoujo manga couple. I live for Nana's "Easy Ba-dump" moments. The story is drama free and will boost your serotonin like crazy! I guarantee it.
6. BONGCHON BRIDE
Soongap and Bongchon's love story is heavy on angst but definitely worth every tear you'll shed.
7. SHAPE OF SYMPATHY
I love the fact that trauma, anxiety, depression, abandonment issues have been portrayed as realistically as possible. This is not your fluffy yaoi. It's as realistic as it can get.
8. CHITRA
This has got to be the best reverse harem story I've read till date. It has a great brainy plot along with romance and cuteness. Chitra was a civil service aspirant who dies and gets reborn as a countess in sort of a video game set-up (vaguely describing it so I won't spoil the story haha). These are her primary husbands (one's she trusts the most) which also happen to be my favourites 🤭 and yeah there will be more.
9. OOH LA LA
This one's a guaranteed mood lifter. Tarot and Panda are chaotic, hilarious and such a vibe.
10. MYSTIC PRINCE
Great plot and great art along with teensy bit of angst.
11. CHEOLSU SAVES THE WORLD
This story is such a masterpiece in terms of plot. I'll guarantee you, you'll cry. Bro's iconic.
12. OMNISCIENT READER'S VIEWPOINT
Interesting plot with amazingly written characters and Kim Dokja = me crying.
13. KOI GA OCHITARA
Hishimoto-san and Ise-kun are one of the cutest older top and younger bottom duo I've encountered. Their relationship is literally a green forest. Plot is simple but definitely gets you hooked and what I liked the most about this story is that Ise's character design is not too feminine.
14. FOR MY DERELICT BELOVED
Story about a fan saving her favourite. Caelus is majestic so I get Hestia🤭
