✦Book Recommendation! Run Wild/SaYe by Wu Zhe

Two boys from broken homes find the comfort they're desperate for in each other's arms, but not before they beat the shit out of each other once or twice. One, a cocky straight-A student with a short fuse, and the other, a cold slacker whose violent reputation causes others around him to fall in line.

It's a wonderful read—a sort of strangers-to-frenemies-to-lovers that takes place in a bleak city in northern China. Their banter is soooo witty and charged! I'm not okay about them. I highly suggest picking up a copy for yourself, or seeing if your local library carries it!
