ABOUT smut_librarian
An account dedicated to archiving all the chapters in a work containing smut.
The Librarian’s goal is to aid those seeking to engage with or avoid adult content.
Current Project: smut_librarian is currently on hiatus. All existing entries will be updated to account for backlogged chapters once the Librarian returns to normal operations.
About Archive Entries
Archive entries are organized as follows:
- – All chapters containing mature scenes.
– Chapters organized by pairing.
- Character names are protected by a spoiler tag.
e.g. Name & Name
– Trigger warnings by chapter.**
- Contain a general warning and a more in-depth warning protected by a spoiler tag.
e.g. 42 — Dubious Consent (Sexualized Power Dynamics)

HiLegend
- – Grey chapter numbers indicate brief snippets (as opposed to a full scene).*
– Red chapter numbers indicate a Nonconsensual Encounter or Act.
– Yellow chapter numbers indicate Dubious Consent.
*Please note that grey numbers have not yet been rolled out for entries predating their implementation (i.e., anything before Insecret).
**Please note that, as of On or Off, this section is now called “Content Warnings” and also lists in greater detail elements of the scene which may be of interest or concern.
Note
Due to the often ambiguous nature of consent in many works, the following definitions will be used as guidelines for tagging scenes as containing instances of Sexual Assault and/or Rape:
Sexual Assault is “sexual contact or behavior that occurs without explicit consent of the victim” (RAINN, n.d.). It “can encompass a multitude of forms such as nonconsensual kissing, groping, and/or penetration” (Columbia University, 2023).
Rape is “penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim” (U.S. Department of Justice, 2012).
Lost Media Prevention Project
New project by the Librarian to preserve works whose official licensing has expired, thus rendering the entries of the works on this and other similar sites the only accessible copies of the works.
In order to prevent the works from becoming lost media, should they be deleted from the site, the Librarian creates files containing the works that can be downloaded by readers.
To receive the download link, please message the Librarian with the title of the desired work. Available titles can be found here.

Friend Manage
Instructions:
- Need the consent of the other party to become your friend.
- Unresponsive requests automatically expire after 30 days.
- You can submit up to 100 friend requests within 30 days
