In manhwa I appreciate everything from found family to yandere×yandere, royal intrigue dramas & revenge plots to heartwarming slice of life fluff, usually alternating between them as the mood takes me. I also like "paths to healing" stories & ones that are harder to predict. The only genre I really don't like is psychological horror, & I'm biased against modern settings. I particularly like strong, independent FLs with MLs that simp for her, who are expressive, devoted, & that are green flags. I also like reading about a MC — either a FL or ML — who is literally or metaphorically ready to go to war for the well-being of their loved ones, or because they've been hurt. I'm willing to try just about anything as long as it has decent reviews & I'm in the mood for it — for as long as I'm in the mood for it — though I go all weak in the knees for particularly good art. As an artist specializing in horses, every horrorse is like a stab to my very soul, and every exceptionally well-drawn horse is like the sweet benediction of a goddess.

I currently have a lot of good manhwa partially read, because I'm an ADHD disaster of a person & I go where the dopamine takes me. Some of these are ones I know will be good, like Stepmother's Marchen/The Fantasie of a Stepmother, I Stan the Prince, Mother's Contract Marriage, & The Not-Sew Wicked Stepmom. And my manhwa-to-be-read list is a mile long, just like my other reading lists. 😅
At home I nurture a pet I adore, a blue & white Blue Gotti pitbull named Star — a velcro puppy, too smart for her own good, & she knows 30+ commands — & also many different houseplants.
I like many different books, mostly fantasy, including Harry Potter, J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium — particularly The Silmarillion, Narnia, Fablehaven, Septimus Heap, Inkheart, & The Inheritance Cycle.
I read a lot of fanfiction, starting back in 2012 on Fanfiction.net, & continuing to this day on AO3. Regulus Black is my Galatea. My ship is Regulus Black/Harry Potter all day long — even though it requires time-travel or necromancy — & my other favourite fics are kidnap family with Maedhros, Maglor, Elrond, & Elros, Hobbit & LoTR gen, & I like Sephiroth/Cloud Strife, though I've read thousands of fics. Some of my favourite fanfic authors are Hyliian, Evandar, kyaru-chan, & athy.
The books on my bedside table right now are Leonardo da Vinci by Frank Zöllner published by Taschen, A Treasury of Irish Fairy & Folk Tales, The Silmarillion by J.R.R. The TV shows I like are Good Omens, Addams Family '64, Twilight Zone, White Collar, Leverage, CSI, Will & Grace, Golden Girls, The Lost Room, The Pillars of the Earth, All Things Great & Small, anthropology & nature documentaries, Hilda, & old Boomerang-Hanna Barbera cartoons. I like movies like Lord of the Rings, Addams Family '91 & '93, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Sherlock Holmes, Studio Ghibli, The Picture of Dorian Grey '45, Bringing Up Baby, Murder until Death, & other weird ones, as well as kid's movies. I watch more YouTube than TV, & the channels I like have videos on video games, cooking & baking, nature, gardening, equitation, historical fashion, history & mythology, fencing, DIY decor & restoration, smithing, lapidary, animals being funny & silly, veterinary medicine, & horse rehabilitation. I like the Night Vale podcast.
