Now, let's start! I'm just a fujoshi who loves cute men acting cute and vulnerable in front of their loved ones, and someone who tries her best to avoid toxic and r@pey stuff. I try to NOT sound like those yaoi fetishisers who read killing stalking as a bl (even though it's not, the author themselves said so?) And are proud of it being their first "bl" (Again, it's not 🥀) like girly, this is why Internet access at a young age is bad for ur mental health, but that's a topic for another time. I love reading books, mangas and manhwas as it's my way of escaping reality. Though, mostly these days I find myself completing short, one volume mangas cuz my attention span is that of an ipad kid. (Sauce: She is fed up with her siscon brother) You might catch me reading oneshots too, I like to read them once in a while when ovulating cuz they're a great source of... Entertainment! I've even made a batolist just for those rare, cute, hot, smeggsy oneshots. If you're interested, It's here. It's a bit unorganized tho.
Btw, my first ever bl manhwa was "robber x lover" Or, "pond snail robber" (That's the name I found it through). It was my first ever manhwa (in general) as well. My first ever shoujo manhwa was "who made me a princess". My first ever bl (in general, not just manhwa) would be sasaki to miyano (peak anime, I swear). I recently read it's manga and that's peak too. As for my first ever manga (in general), it was "Fruit basket another". I found it through Instagram after u finished the anime and I just wanted to see Kyo do much, I trued digging up the manga and found it. My first ever manhua was "Here u are" (Another peak bl).
I'm in the mood of yapping so I'll be yapping about how I began reading bl (u can skip it if u don't wanna know). It all started in 2022, when I was watching any free anime I could on YouTube. I came across a short about one anime and gave it a try. I don't remember it's name but I do remember that it was a shonen romance anime in high school setting where the government arranged marriages of the citizen when they hit a certain age . That's not what's important tho. The MMC had a male bestie who usually seemed very aloof, nonchalant and shi but once, when the mc was sleeping in the class room, probably waiting for his bestie, the bestie came and kissed the mc in his sleep and ik now this is wrong cuz there was no consent but the me at that time was having a fujoshi awakening. I didn't directly jump into bl (mainly because I didn't know it existed) but that scene lived in my head rent-free for quite some time until I finally found sasaki to miyano. After that, I tried searching for bl anime wherever i could on YouTube and I can across one called "gakuen heaven" And gave it a try. I don't know it was bl while watching it, I just thought that's how boys interacted at that time (yes, I thought it was normal for one boy to sit in the other lap. I though of it as very brotherly.). Also, I watched Yuri on ice with our knowing it was a bl. 😭 I thought the rings were like a promise that Yuri would win a medal for Victor or Smth (I really should rematch it). Another bl anime that I didn't know as bl was "case file of jeweller Richard". I was so blind tf 🥀
Another story I wanna tell is the time I downloaded bilibili comics app I didn't know what bl was so when I saw the genre "boys love" I thought it meant a romance manhua from the male character's pov 😭 same with girl's love 😭 . Ok thats all.

Aside from bls and occasional shoujos, I also find myself enjoying some comedic (is that even a word 🤔?) action stories. I'm keeping up with the popular ones like The greatest estate developer, orv, The s-class that I raised, Return of the blossoming blade, Eleceed, Best teacher baek (haven't caught up with this one yet), The apothecary Prince and several more but if you have something with the same vibe, feel free to DM me here ^^
Also, I tend to make a shit ton of typos so if anything I said doesn't make sense to you, I've either typed it out as fast as I can (prolly cuz I was either angry or excited) or, I wrote it in middle of the night.
