Dere Types I Like to Read:
- Yandere - A character whose love, admiration and devotion is so strong that it is expressed as an excessive obsession and possessiveness. 'Crazily' in love!
- Kichidere - A character that is crazy and dangerous but their feelings of love and reactions to them are surprisingly normal.
- Kuudere - A character who is calm and collected on the outside and never panics. They show little emotion. In extreme cases, they are completely emotionless. However, they may be hiding their true feelings deep down.
- Dandere - A character who is shy, quiet, timid and asocial. They are afraid to talk; fearing what they say will get them into trouble. However, they will suddenly become talkative and sweet when alone with the right person if they are comfortable enough to pour their heart out, revealing that they're actually just shy.
- Tsundere - A character who acts rude, cold and hostile towards their love interest in order to conceal their warm and caring feelings.
- Hinedere - A character who has cynical world views, is cold-hearted and highly arrogant. They will get easily annoyed by other people; including their love interest at first.
- Jendere - A male character who is sweet, kind and gentlemanly. Depicting a calmer composure; some come across as true princes.
