The story originated as a web novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō, a popular Japanese web fiction site.
It was officially published as a light novel by DRE Novels (Kadokawa imprint).
It was later adapted into manga form due to its rising popularity.
The manga is divided into arcs, with different illustrators per part:
