He's a lazy, sly, vulgar, and irreverent playboy. From Lichun Brothel to the Forbidden City, sly little Wei Xiaobao cleared all the stages despite the inherent dangers. He does not know martial arts, yet the martial world and the imperial court become playthings in his hands. As the saying goes: Pass over the dangers step by step, and bring home beauties stage by stage.
This story is set in the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1661-1722) during the Qing dynasty of China. Read the note in Chapter 0 for a short introduction. This story is also marginally related to 2 other Jin Yong's stories: Sword Stained With Royal Blood (碧血剑) and Fox Volant of the Snowy Mountain (雪山飞狐).
